The Brief : The farm cottage was being modernised and the garden needed to be linked to the home rather than sit above it. Different areas were constructed at different stages with the link to the house and garden forming the last stage. Care and consideration to the woodland landscape and the agricultural land the cottage sat in gave it a sense of place .
